Fall Antique Show Trolley

The Round Top Area Chamber of Commerce will have 3 air-conditioned Trolley's running 6 days during the Fall Antique Show.  Dates are September 25, 26 & 27 and October 2, 3 & 4th.  The Route has 17-stops serviced with 3 Park and Ride location - Old Henry Farm - World Wide Antiques & Design Show, Round Top Rifle Hall and the Compound (just south of Marburger Farm Antique Show).  There will be plenty of room to park and the trolley will ferry you to some of the best locations for shopping.  Hop-on, hop-off.....you won't have to mess with the traffic or look for a parking space!  Runs 9:30 - 5:30.  $5.00 to park/$5.00 to ride all day!  Several Ticket Locations to buy wristbands only!

Join Orchid Tree Park and Gallery - "Santa Fe Nights" in celebrating their "1 year anniversary"!!  They have new art and artists to introduce (Raquel Kreipe and Camille Ellington).  Come in your finest Santa Fe attire and be entertained by flamenco dancers, music and beautiful art!

The 28th Annual Library and Museum Collection Forum.
"Home on the Range": The Texas Landscape in Art and Music.
Designed and presented by Lamar Lentz , Curator of Museum and Collections at Round Top Festival Institute along with distinguished speakers and performers.

Enjoy a day of lectures, exhibitions and performances.  The three distinguished guest speakers will take you from the wide-open spaces of the West Texas landscape into the burgeoning Houston Art scene of the 1950's, as we discover the importance of early Texas Art, and from cowboy songs around the camp fire to performances of "Turkey in the Straw" on the New York Stage.

Schutzenfest!   Enjoy a free dance and the crowning of the Schutzenfest King at the historic Round Top Rifle Hall.  Hall opens at 4:00 p.m. and the K nig will be crowned at 6:00.  Music by Donnie Wavra and the Hi-Liters from 5:00 - 8:30.  The Round Top Rifle Association is proud to sponsor a raffle for this meticulously-detailed recreation of the legendary 1860 Henry Repeating Rifle. Texas Heroes Day - Enjoy a day of honoring Texas Heroes including those who fought and died for the Republic of Texas.  The event specially commemorates the men of the Dawson Massacre and the Mier Expedition.  Enjoy pioneer craft demonstrations, re-enactors, cannon and musket salutes, historic flag display, a special presentation and guided tours.
